What is Apprentice of the Year?
Each year our association holds it's annual Master Painters Excellence Awards in order to reward it's Members for their hard work and craftsmanship. There are 18 categories in the Awards, one of which was established to celebrate the achievements of those who are just starting their journey in the Painting & Decorating industry.
Apprentice of the Year is a competition open to all of MPA's apprentices, as well as any apprentices who are currently working under any of our Members. This competition gives students to a chance to showcase their skills and to see how they compare against their peers, as well as the opportunity to walk away with the winning prize (which this year was $500 for the winner, as well as $250 for second, third and fourth place).
