The MPA QLD and NICS (National Institute of Construction Skills) ladies attended the Annual AWIC (Awesome Women in Construction) International Women's Day lunch on March 1st. MPA QLD sponsored these incredible lights for the event.

Awesome Women in Construction (AWIC) is a not-for-profit association dedicated to providing support, resources, and networking opportunities to women working across Australia’s construction industry.

AWIC advocates against discrimination, educates the next generation and amplifies the voices of women in construction.



At The National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC) they welcome women in construction, and their allies, from all walks of life, cultures, ages and career stages.

Their members work in remote and regional locations, in the city, by the coast, on farms and in factories, as sole traders and in large commercial and government enterprises and infrastructure.
